WIDER 42

Characterised by its expandable cockpit, WIDER 42 has twice the space as any other 42 ft yacht. Just press a button, and in 12 seconds, the central cockpit opens onto the sea to provide an 18 square metre area at anchor.

Versatility and functions aboard

The cockpit can be transformed to serve different purposes. The central dinette, entirely made from carbon fibre, can be easily converted into a large sundeck or a chaise longue. The exterior galley fittings include a teppanyaki plate for flameless grilling, and an icebox to have chilled drinks and fruit always on hand.

The bow of WIDER 42 is highly versatile: besides serving as a comfortable sundeck, it may assume four more configurations:
Stowage space for diving equipment
Room for a 2.75m tender
Stowage space for a jet ski
Room to set up a “fighting chair” (a deep-sea fishing chair)
Access to the large galley area in the bow is by means of a lightweight central ladder in carbon fibre. The design of the handrail follows the lines of the sliding glass door into the cabin.
The cabin is equipped with a C seat that can readily turn into a large double bed. Facing the bed is a flat screen TV set. The bathroom features a shower enclosure, a washbasin made of glass and a carbon fibre toilet bowl.
The galley is equipped with a worktop, a sink and a ceramic cooktop. A microwave oven – or a double drawer refrigerator – can also be installed on request.
